I have had a wonderful opportunity to interview a beautiful Golden Retriever named Angel. Angel needs a new furever home and would make a wonderful companion dog for a veteran. She is hoping to be adopted very soon. Angel was rescued by the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. Angel agreed for me to interview him. Here are the highlights of my interview with this gorgeous boy.

Daisy: Angel, you are quite a beautiful boy with your red coat. How old are you?

Angel: Thank you Daisy, I’ve been told I look very young for my age. I am 8 ½ years old.

Daisy: If you don’t mind me asking. How much do you weigh?

Angel: Well Daisy, that is a bit intrusive but since I am a boy (not a vain girl) I will gladly answer that question. I weigh 74 pounds and trust me every single pound is beautiful. Some humans have said that I am a bit overweight but I would like to challenge that observation.

Daisy: Do you like most humans and kids?

Angel: Yes, I have found that humans are very nice. They all like petting me because I am so adorable. I absolutely love kids. I like to play with them or just lay next to them while they play. Kids are great!

Daisy: Do you like to go for walks?

Angel: I think that question is rather silly since most of us dogs, and Goldens especially, love going for walks. But yes, I do too. All I have to do is see my leash and collar and I am up and ready to go. I like doing just about anything with humans.

Daisy: Are you very smart?

Angel: Of course! My IQ has not been measured recently but everyone that knows me says I am very intelligent.

Daisy: You seem to be very friendly. Are you ever shy?

Angel: Sometimes I am a little shy but only at first. I warm up to humans pretty fast. Just give me a little bit of time.

Daisy: Do you like other dogs?

Angel: I love other dogs and I wouldn’t mind at all sharing my new furever home with another dog.

Daisy: This might be a little personal but I feel that my readers would like an answer to this question. Have you been neutered?

Angel: I don’t mind saying at all that I have been neutered.

Daisy: What would you like to have in your new furever home?

Angel: I would love to have a human companion that will take me for walks, cuddle with me, pet me, groom me, and play some ball with me. I just want to be somewhere that I can love and be loved. I have a lot of love to give.
